Buying old hats

I was wondering if it is possible to buy old "support the patch" hats? Like real old, like years.
And when (if) the server resets, will we still be able to buy all the previous hats made?

As far as buying from the store, only if they're brought back for a time. Otherwise, you can trade for them. You'll need to hit players up to trade you the ones they own. Some people are willing to do so. You might try posting what you want in "Apples for Oranges." You might also want to try one of the group Discord channels. The only one I know of is Hedgehugs (see the Community Fair post: viewtopic.php?f=59&t=54770), but that doesn't mean it is the only one.

i doubt jorb and loftar would bring back old hats since they are so valuable rn. it would fuck up the people that bought it at the time and be a big fuck you to them. as much as i want the cat hat its not a good idea : (

In fact, Jorb during a stream stated, that old hats "might" re-appear once more in the future, but not exactly in the same form. And by this I mean same hat, but different colors on it. So old ones still stays somewhat "unique".

More like simple economics. There is a very limited supply, but a high demand. Thus the item becomes rare and has high value. Making them available again brings the supply up to infinite, making their value fall to the price they sell for - $10.

The 'simple economics' (and the deluded people who think about them and money as God) is what is destroying the life support base for humans in this planet. Plus the store hats were not advertised as rare (or to not return) so speculators could leech on the mentally weak, they were ment to make the devs some income (which clearly is a slippery slope in itself as they destroy the suspension of disbelief by completely being outside the lore of the game) in a form that isn't a donation.
