Can someone help me changing the icons on my PC?

Postby Infinity-Production » Sun Sep 23, 2018 2:40 pm

Okay i have figured out how too change the icon, but the size of the thing is horrible.
I put icons to be extra large, some are big, but for some reason some are staying small, like the one i made myself.
I want all to be large and maximized, so i can sit far away from the screen and click on the icon instead of getting closer to read the text.

Any link to a correct guide to solve my problem would be awesome.
And no Google was not my friend on this one, it showed me anything else except the thing i needed.

You need to supply the image to be used for the icon in a bit enough resolution.

Ah thank you a lot, i found a icon converter thanks to you, it was exactly what i was looking for.

I am not even sure what linux or i3 is, i prefer staying with normal simple programs and nothing too advanced, like the icon converter Granger linked me too.
No reason too over complicate things when there are simple solutions, my problem was just finding it.
but thank you anyway.

Yeah, man... who needs high level languages like C? Real programmers get it all done in ASM. And Mr. Robot taught me that real hackers don't use either Debian or Slackware, so PFTFTFT!!

It might be worth learning some of it. You can install some Linux versions to a thumb drive and run it as a second operating system, either in as a Windows virtual device or boot from the thumb drive. For productivity, it's hard to beat if you can learn the different ways to do things. Plus, you don't have the issues with Microsoft.
