"Den constructed by humans" is bit misleading. Essentially, volunteers just plowed snow along the shores into piles where seal can dig a nest.

I went to Alaska and tried seal golfing once. I think I was using the wrong club, though...

And PETA... man, they just want to spoil all the fun.

(I kid! one should never be needlessly cruel to animals whether you are harvesting them for food, clothing, or otherwise trying to keep populations under control.)

I always blame the caddy. Though in all seriousness? Poor club or iron selection leads to a ruined seal. How fun is that? Its just too expensive. I'll stick to stuffing and mounting squirrels for my squirrel army.
