I think that google, facebook and others are just scared of losing their profits, so they are brainwashing stupid people to "defend the internet" as it is cheaper than lobbying.

Most people who resist the articles have not even read them.

I agree that copyright violations are rampant, big companies are profiting from them and they need to be taken under control.

I waved my magic wand to summon a lawyer, and nothing happened. Either I lack the special magic, or one isn't around to take my call, or one doesn't exist that can explain the new laws... I'm not sure which.
