Do you remember if you caught the Mackerel with bait or lures? deep or shallow water etc? Working on my credo and by now i must have gotten every single ocean fish except the Mackerel which i need :/

Hi it was a few days ago but IIRC I was able to catch a mackerel with bait (had to either have been grubs or entrails) in not shallow water.

Lads!!! Use chum bait, I get like 0% bait loss with it.

Edit: It stands to reason that fishing in a later game area could require a more 'technologically advanced' bait than guts and bugs, so I suspect this is very much intended.
