to make an underground tunnel that connects continents if you have 3000 metal bars prepared for mine supports?

Probably. Bigger problem is we don't know if you can tunnel under ocean.

I hope not. However; if you can I would suggest only on level 5. When you get away from shores seas always drop down significantly.
