Thoughts so far on W11

Postby joojoo1975 » Tue Feb 05, 2019 7:21 am

So i'm at a crossroad. should I play more or stay with my current game.

Before I descide to play casual or not I would like to ask a couple of questions:

First off, is this going to be like W10 all over again with bottin and exploitin so players have Hulk like Stats or have the Devs finessed enough to keep them at bay?

I've read the W11 notes and the newest update, anything that struck you so far that makes W11 stand over/under W10? For me it's the Oceans, Truly a over, Way Over!

If they don't change the 3x fep bonus from hunger soon you will start to see big stat growth once people have their farms up.

Opinions expressed in this statement are the authors alone and in no way reflect on the game development values of the actual developers.

Its not hard to stay at 300%.
Here is the thread where its being discussed.
The sooner it gets fixed the better the state of the world will be.

It's trivial to stay at 300% -- don't eat anything. If you want to maximize gains per unit of time, however, then staying at 300% can surely not be optimal?

they already buffed the minimum FP gain from hunger, so thats already going to be a thing. even if they couldnt bot their way back to 300%, the players with insane stat levels are still going to exist, and be the exact same people from the last world. i.e. the botters who have a dozen or so alts all with their own claims, basically funneling a metric fuckton of food into the main. who cares about a 300% bonus when you have a nonstop gravy train of whatever crops you want because your combat alt has enough stats to punch a mammoth to death, and can scare everyone out of your entirely bot realm? the thread linked in other posts is a somewhat good thread, but honestly energy should be removed altogether to remove the NEED to constantly eat for no reason whatsoever, and instead limit how many food items a player can eat per in game day, based on their stats. limit it so its only possible to raise the total value of your stats by say 10% per day, and shit would work itself out real fast. would also remove the need to have 100x100 plots of 1-2 crops just to feed a specific stat desire.

Salt spam and quests bro

Even at 5% hunger reduction true neckbeards will just spam salt through trade to get where they want to be and us normies can always quest to stay within 300% forever

I like the game in its current state.
It rubs the lotion on its skin and does as its told. it does this whenever its told or else it gets the hose again. Now it puts the lotion in the basket. PUT THE FUCKING LOTION IN THE BASKET!
