Dying while carrying objects

I died while carrying a dead body out of a dungeon to bury because i died in one and wanted the exp from burial. Now the body disappeared when the toon carrying the dead body died in the water. Any help on that?

Nope. Objects carried while over water are utterly destroyed if dropped for some reason. Even boats of any type.

True..anything that falls in the water is gone..you can not retrieve it..had me wondering at first too but finally got the hang of it.
