I read that I would get my lp back if I declaimed... That was determined a lie!!!. I moved my post and got nothing back. What did I do wrong and can this be fixed?

yeah once its spent you dont get that LP back. you can only relocate the totem to somewhere else on a claim by just building another one and the original despawns.

Please keep in mind That there have been 11 worlds before this one and that more often than not the Wiki's are outdated. Take the information on them with some salt and dont take it as gospel.

It was badly maintained in legacy too. RoB has always been superior, but sadly it has at various times lost the search tag war to the other wiki.

Thank you all for responding... I had no idea this was outdated... I ddnt even look at date!!! I do appreciate you all though. The good things is that I just started playing and It wasn't ton of lp but just enough to cover my belongings.

If you search personal claim, it actually has a date of Feb 2, 2019. Right there on the page it states:

The initial claim area is a 5x5 square around the totem. It can be expanded at the cost of 10 LP per square (note that personal claims do not refund LP anymore, so what's spent is lost after declaiming). This is done by increasing the dimensions of the claim (north, east, south, west).

Yes, it does suck. I was in this same situation earlier this world. I declaimed and didn't understand why no lp was refunded. Checked out the wiki and lo and behold. Sorry for your lp loss. But, at least now we both know why.

I guess it's a way to combat lp banking becoming an issue with super large claims spreading across vast amounts of lands.
