Jorb is a name that some have applied to an ancient
and powerful goddess in the Norse pantheon who had
a special place in the minds of many Vikings, but who
in the end was not really a goddess. For instance, there
is a place in Denmark called "Jor" which means "Jorb"
but in fact it means "Ogre's Hill".
The text above does sound somewhat real, but it was
actually generated by a neural network.
Recently a complete version of GPT-2 was released,
a model that was trained to predict the next word, using
a bunch of random texts from the internet.
At first, they said that it would be too "dangerous" to release
the full model, because they feared that it could be misused
to generate lots of fake content, like news articles. But now
they seemingly changed their mind.
Of course, it's not a new idea to make programs that
generate text, but GPT-2 is able to generate a variety
of texts with exceptional quality, when compared to
other programs or models like GPT-2.
Perhaps some day I don't have to make my quality
posts to forums anymore, because neural networks
can generate text of equivalent quality?
Perhaps some day we don't need devs,
because neural networks will generate the code for this game?
But what to you think?
You can try it yourself here.

You may have to try a few times to get something
that really makes sense though!
