I've seen some bad advertisements in Finland, but this beats them all!!
I'm not sure that I have a strong argument against sketch colors - Jorb, November 2019

What kind of uneducated asshole put this shitshow together.
Ancient greece form of democracy has little resemblance to modern day and of course the vast majority of our traditions comes from Germany, we're descended from germanic tribes for gods sakes. It doesn't even touch upon kulning, kubb or filmjölk.
And absorbing the best aspects from other cultures? THE ROMANS DID THAT. And a lot better I might add seeing how they became the most powerful republic of the ancient era. Until they decided to centralize all power into a fascism and it fell apart from infighting.
And as a final condemnation: the only people who call then "swedish meatballs" are those yeehaws across the pond.

Did you know that some ancient Greeks actually invented steam engine? Should they get credit for industrial revolution? No, because they saw it essentially as a gimmick or a party trick. Like @Cajoes mentioned above, their democracy was also drastically different from ours. in Athens, poster-boy for democracy, only 10-20% of people could vote (and certain people today would find especially problematic that they were all men.)

The serious advertisements types are always bullshit and bad.
There aim is to instill/trigger some positive emotional feeling towards them ... in the extreme now a days it seems. (mental manipulation)
Air-travel company advertisements are in the worst top 10 ... probably because there trying to compensate for something, probably something bad.
(Same for oil companies ... O look how they all suddenly turned green .. in advertisements.)
