Bugged Quests?

Hey so i was mining and decided to take a break, and maybe do some quests. but i have an issue with my quests, i had this same issue in the past too, every quest i get is across the ocean, even on different characters, all my quests are always across the oceans. Any information on my problems?

it's entirely possible that you're not actually being asked to cross to another continent but rather another part of the one you're on.

Take a look at this world map, there are plenty of spots on the central continent where you can have a quest that appears to point out to sea but it's just pointing across an area of ocean to another point of the continent.

It's also generally helpful to know where you are on this map but if you don't have much of your surroundings mapped that can be a bit of a process

You have to use the ortho cam or the quest arrows don't work.
