Considering the ammount of things on scene, besides, I played on a windowed client

? Are those FPS something usual to you people? when i rotate acmera you can imagine how they drop. That's the question for. I know its an eternal alpha and bla bla bla...Don't get me wrong, I love the game! :D

Yes, the frame rates are bad. The new client is a good bit better than the old client. Some of the mods do have some performance features that will help keep frame rates up. A lot depends on the computer you're running on, though, and newer or more expensive isn't necessarily better.

I typically use Amber only because it, and Ender, are the two oldest, and I'm a bit paranoid when it comes to client modding in any game. The "Ardenne's reboot" client (see here) has been very popular. Shubla's (Puru's Pasta) also has some fans. They all have a few different features the others don't have. Ardenne's and Puru's have a scripting API built in.

You have not taken steps within Amber to increase the framerate. For example you have not reduced your crop models. There are several other options you can set within Amber to further increase framerate. It looks like you still have everything at the default max settings. I avoided posting for a while because it's been so long since I loaded up Amber that I'm not the best person to provide detailed advice. I recommend looking through the options and changing some settings. Let us know how it goes.

You can also try asking in the Amber client thread in The Wizards Tower subforum. Finally this thread may receive more of the right type of exposure in the How do I subforum. General is usually inhabited by pseudo-trolls such as myself.

The game runs like a brick

It has improved a bit since launch when I was idling at 17 fps, but it's still not what I'd call 'good'

Its the new normal - simplified objects does help though. Strangely enough hiding crops lowers my FPS in comp to actually showing them in simplified format.
