This may discourage some people that are looking for more [redacted] discussion from using it so I have created a new more [redacted] version, so people can choose if they want [redacted] or [redacted] discussion.

Honestly, lately those spam messages didn't even point me somewhere, to buy something or whatever. They just... talked about something nobody asked of. I think one of them was a random review for a [redacted] movie, the spam bots are developing a conscience.

Yeah... trying to encourage someone to get a basic informational post that might be stickied for all the players to see seems to be a battle akin to herding cats. (Assuming anyone is willing to keep such lists maintained and not just advertise their own servers.

But it's what it is. If you want a thread to devolve into a shitstorm, I won't stop you. The only reason I removed the other thread was it started off at a light breeze and slowly started to evolve into a rope tornado.

If you're aiming that to me, then yes, I agree, and no, I don't take it personally. It can be fun watching the drama unfold.

The flip side to that is when I'd like to see something of a resource for new players to access to community... As much as I don't like Discord, it is a popular platform for group voice and chat.

Why does this forums need policing even. Sure you're useful when you have to ban the spam bots, but enforcing rules like a cuck or if you the mod doesn't like the discussion or the thread is weak even if its a shitpost or not.
