What's your favorite credo?

Postby PogJoe45 » Thu Nov 19, 2020 10:23 am

Hi guys, pogjoe here, my favorite credo has to be the fisherman credo because I happen to be a big fan of fishing in real life, sadly due to the world's current state I haven't been able to go outside too much and enjoy one of my favorite activities so I've been turning to digital fishing, some of the games I play and definitely recommend being Fishing Sim World: Pro Tour and Fishing Planet. Anyways without getting too off topic, I simply find the fishing system in this game to be very interesting and complex even though it's not the primary focus of the game. I love that you have to take into consideration certain crucial factors before you even start fishing if you want to achieve the best possible results such as finding the best location to catch the type of fish you want, the time of day and even the fishing rod you'll be using!
At last I'd like to congratulate the developer team for giving us such a nice and intricate fishing system and the blessing that is the fishing credo in my opinion.

It's got to be farmer for the faster crop growth + greater crop yield

Personally, I really like nomad. An excuse to roam around all the way across the world and get into a lot of /player interactions/ where the actual credo feels kinda secondary. Plus the rewards aren't mandatory, but they're nice to have

IMO, as you described fishing is really good side content, because people who are inclined to do so can get really into it and learn its intricate mechanics. Makes a horrible credo though, because people are obligated to get it, and being forced to interact with intricate mechanics you'll use for nothing else is a very unpleasant experience

In a universe in which credos would not be not mandatory, lumberjack and quarryman are really nice cause they're not obnoxious to get, but my favorite has to be nomad cause it has really nice bonuses.

I did fisherman as the first credo (2 quests per level, 10 total quests) and hated every single quest it gave.
I also did pearldiver which took me 1 month at 100 total quests just for jorb to say "haha fuck you, global pools make pearl diver worthless", and mystic at 110 quests (22 per level), just cause I could. So with those 2, you can't say I don't know pain to some extent, though Blacksmith is even more annoying, but I didn't do that one.

Having Lumberjack is nice but being forced to make blocks/boards without it isn't.
