I have been using amber client for some time now I like it for the plant times and other features it has. Has there been an update to the map that is causing the Client to fail loading recently I think I have been having issues for 3 weeks now I have been using the regular java log in to play but I could not find data on why amber was not opening.

If you check the thread for Amber client, you'll find some third party fixes for it.

Alternatively, you could try out (currently) more actively maintained Ender client.
