I have not seen a single soul, and i've travelled none stop for almost 4 hours.
I'm guessing the spawn was spread out then? :)

I spawned underground somehow. Still trying to find my way out of this damn cave. It's massive.

A friend spawned only 15 minutes from the edge of the world. I'm assuming the spawn is COMPLETELY randomized this time around.

Not a single soul? I have left my boat for five minutes and it had gone :)

Same, I've only seen 2 souls and a afk dude. A nice contrast to the previous world's start imo

Well, the spawn area is indeed larger this world. That in itself is not necessarily what we wanted, but it's a trade-off for other properties of the spawn area, which I'd like to think weigh up for it.

It looks like there's a big ocean in the center of the world and everyone spawns around it. Some people spawned on west edge, some on east afaik.
Donut world? Treasure in the center?
