Global pools--gone?

I'm not sure myself, but there's a few things that I thought were in a pool the last couple of worlds, and I've seen a decent amount of them even the last day or two. Maybe something else has replaced it just to discourage the forage bots? I've been half-assing it so far this world, so not as progressed as I normally would be, and wondering if I'm just "seeing things" or if my thoughts have some reality to them.

Why do you imagine that devs would remove feature that literally every single player resists, including botters and non botters.
They refuse to comment global pool threads because they are sadistic and laugh as people soon stop finding glimmers yet again and waste hours off their life walking in empty echoing caves.
