Silly gameplay tricks and tips

So often when I play the game I come up with all kinds of tricks which are mostly useless, but some of them may be amusing so I think we need a thread for them.
Share your own silly tricks below!

1.
You can gild while running, to save time as you don't have to stop.

2.
If you are lucky and quick enough, you can put firebrand into your inventory after using it to lit the fire, to gain free 0.01kg of ash.

3.
If you want to gild something with gild given by a friend, but want to avoid clicking, have your inventory filled with other items, so the gild comes straight into your hand when you pick it up, saving 1 click from inventory.

4.
You can eat various fruits to get free LP in early game from the seeds.

No you should always hold the firebrand in case you get the stupid firebrand experience

You can hold a rowboat while being on a rowboat to look like some kind of Armored Rowboat.

you can light an dugout directly on an firepit, making you hold up an burning dugout, as an very slow way of being an enourmus walking torch, burning dugouts can be placed in water and swim while burning
dont put the dugout in an boat though, as it cant be picked up once placed and might delete your rowboat, not 100% sure on that

You can eat heartwood leaves while hearthing. You can drop bark boats in the water and they are little tiny cute boats. You can whistle at a domesticated pony and it wanders to you.

You can aggro a couple of bats and walk through a wall in a cave and piss off the autist chasing you when they block him behind you
