As someone who recommends a lot of people to play, who usually don't end up sticking around, I would say I've spent a combined total of 200 blocks, 100 clay, 100 boards, and 100 stones on these people. And because I build them outside my walls, I have to cart all the mats out into the given-up-player-hearthfire-pit. Without wheelbarrows, that's about 4-6 trips running, and with it's 2 at a slower pace.
What's the justification why these aren't a little easier to build? It's not hard by any means, but players usually jump in the fire between the time it takes for them to create a character and for me to get the beacon ready, then they get frustrated they gotta start again with a new name.
Reminder that you used to enter a Hearth secret and spawn right next to the owner's hearthfire in Legacy. Is it botters we're worried about?
