I've seen a lot of people saying the game is s*** but I know they also love the game so I'm making this thread so people could share positive things about the game

I love it cuz there's no other game like it out there it sucks the least I'm sick and tired of softcore MMOs and games

I love it cuz of its uniqueness you gain stats not from leveling up from eating food and you get learning points for picking up everything and studying weird items

I'm not a 100% fan of the combat system but I also kind of like its uniqueness to it's not the greatest but it's not crap either I played worse

what convinced me to make the thread was a YouTube video I watched a while back

the video convinced me the revisit games I played in the past

if you watch the video you will realize Haven it's the least sucky MMORPG I played in the last 3 years I'm done looking for a perfect game cuz I know I'm never going to find it

What i love most about haven is the exploration, finding new things & learning new mechanics or recipes.

No other game ive found gives the same sense of exploration for me.Its a game i keep returning to (often with extended breaks of years between).

another thing this game has no other game has archaeology potential you can find ruins of old player bases in sometimes you find an upgrade or something else interesting

exploring is definitely fun to do I like looking through ruins the day I found a horse alive the only thing that sucks is the horses neutered so I can't use it for breeding but it's good for transportation till I get a better horse

sometimes i leave my character on farm and go out for 5 min, come back 2h later and it's still there, still connected, that's pretty old school behaviour, when data cables weren't treated like water pipes

building is already pretty interesting, imagine when you have custom buildings and be able to walk over them, and water-forming

The slow pace, crops and trees will take time to grow, hides will take time to dry etc...

I love the progression, in this game, from nothing to building an empire. Everything before the QL grind is cool tbh.

Agreed... It really makes you feel like you have accomplished, triumphed, progressed, etc. I also love the great ideas they brought back from working on Salem and the regular updates are great as well.
