City of Brodgar this session?

Used to live in Brodgar many years ago (just came back to the game) and I was wondering if The City of Brodgar was still a thing? If so, who to contact to join?

Nope, there is not a 'true' City of Brodgar this world.
But I'm sure there are some big villages that might like to take you in.

I'm willing to join a similar project, as soon as someone else is up for managing the village a.k.a. lawspeaker.

With the world being in a later stage now, it makes it possible to get assistance from "main" settlements/characters, as well as nice competition with trolls and griefers, which makes the fun part.

But also just naming a general area will be good enough, if people would be interested to take part.

I've wanted to make a brodgar-like city for a long time. Somewhere people can work together and make friends without having to traverse the map. But also somewhere dangerous where you could be bashed and robbed in the back alleys at night.

A larpy place with an incompetent city watch and a corrupt power structure. Somewhere full of wild fun for an alt or even a main if you were so inclined.

Somewhere like Ankh Morpork.

I doubt I'm the right person to make it happen though so I hope someone else stands up. I'd like to see it done and would gain great amusement from the stories which would take place there.

I'm willing to join too. But I'm new to the game (only 8 hours of play time right now) and have much to learn. So I may not be a good help.

Brodgar is nice to spawn a new character, though theres no charter stone anymore, so it wouldn't attract so many new chars, unless someone runs a beacon building bot
