What are you all planning to do with your regained freedoms?
Personally I plan on licking every doorknob I pass through and hosting biweekly coughing parties, as is the norm here in Canada

We can use this thread to mourn for the millions and millions of lives that will be taken by the vaccines starting any time now.

I think qanon projected that people will start dropping dead about a year after their first shot, but maybe jorb can correct me here.

Hopefully not watching my mother die from it. She's severely at risk and the loosened rules finally got her. But still a very distinct possibility. She could easily have another 10 years otherwise.

But y'know, crybabies don't like wearing cloth on their face while screaming about liberties. Meanwhile, they ignore the fact that it's law that you have to cover your crotch in public.

I'd just like to remind that wearing masks in community settings is not very effective at preventing anything.
There is no conclusive evidence that mask would decrease rate of infection.
This was the case already with the less infectious strains, now the dominating strains are more infectious.

Its just something that's easily visible so people can feel good when they do it and then hate those that won't.


Most medical grade masks that I've used leak all the air from sides anyways! Only thing that it prevents is some saliva etc. flying off your mouth.
Maybe they're just bad masks but that's what they sell in stores and everybody uses.

Many people that I know that have been strict about covid have gotten the infection in the end anyways, Its just delaying the inevitable.
