Rustroot Extract Not Showing Red or indicator

Is this a bug? Did they change the way this worked?

Before during the last world i played, the red indicator would form a circlish around you and point to ore, if none was found, the red indicator would still appear but it would state "no ore found"

I am not getting any red indicator and it is only telling me if the ore is directly beneath me.


Also, using near (+- 15 tiles) a known source of casserite. Q10 rustroot extract


Is this a bug? Happens on purus and default client for me.

Nah, that's the way it has always worked. Maybe you were using a custom client that changed it into what you're familiar with.

so using it in range of an ore node, isnt supposed to point me to it with a cone of direction?

Q10 rustroot extract has no range to begin with, but regardless of quality, rustroot isn't guaranteed to discover any particular deposit.
