What games do you play besides H&H?

Postby Blueberry » Sun Oct 16, 2022 11:52 pm

My all time favorite game in the entire universe is my beloved war crime simulator, Rimworld. My other big time favorites are Frostpunk, Dungeons and Dragons, Sonic, Elder Scrolls, Fallout, Spore, Legend of Zelda, and Mass Effect.

On and off I also play:
Pokemon
Stardew Valley
Starbound
Don't Starve
Oxygen Not Included
Terraria
Slimerancher
Red Dead Redemption
Banished
Dawn of Discovery
The Long Dark
Undertale
Grand Theft Auto
Unturned
The Sims
Cult of the Lamb
Eldritch
Dawn of Man
Hollow Knight
Anything by Amanita Design <3

I want to get into The Witcher, Splatoon, Dark Souls, Fortnite, and Borderlands, but I haven't gotten around to them yet. I tend to pick up a game, not put it down for months at a time, then not touch it again for years until I play it obsessively again for another few months. Haven and Hearth has been one I've loved to bits for over a decade :)
berry nice to see you

runescape is cool but i find so much of the content so unengaging that it is almost unplayable without doing somethign else at the same time like watching utube or something

Dota 2 is my big timesink. Honestly I feel bad for the amount of time I'm spending in haven. Kinda losing friends over in dota because of it.

Had a very fond time playing ONI though

If we are talking time sinks:
Foxhole
X4 Foundations (Interworlds/Star Wars mod)
and new to the list but much recommended: Vintage Story

but there are the other games to take your mind off of things:
War Thunder
Star Wars Battlefront 2
Star Wars The Old Republic (yes, these two indeed still barely alive)
Planetside 2
TC's The Division
Elden Ring
and others of my over 200 games in the steam library of which I probably didn't even touch half so far.

Noita
Space Engineers
Transport Fever 2
Ostriv

Recently I also played Mount and Blade Bannerlord but I don't think I will return there any soon, game is to glitchy and broken

Still looking for something new to rest from haven, something with trading, engineering/planning

First obsession was starcraft/brood war and i still replay the campaign or play some UMS maps from time to time.

overall i have a thousand games at my disposal between steam/GoG and consoles, and what i choose to play is in constant flux. Not to mention the infinte amount of free and emulated games i have access to.
There's a few i return to a lot:

Banjo-Kazooie gets a playthrough once a year, and often Tooie right after.
Terraria is a fantastic game i once disregarded as "2D Autism", long ago. Fool i was.
Noita and Highfleet are two indie gems I've sunk a lot into.
PlateUp! was bought on a whim last month and i've put hundreds of hours into it with friends and family
Minecraft is always present in some capacity.
Loads of colony/settlement survival stuff like rimworld, oxygen not included, etc.
Loads of tycoon games like prison architect or RCT
ROCKET LEAGUE

I find that Kenshi fills the havenhole pretty well for me.

I do not for the life of me understand what people see in that game.

I spent 3 IRL hours minmax stealing a guy's cup over and over while he wasn't home to max thieving and stealth. And then I could sneak wherever I needed to steal anything I wanted. The game is full of weird minmaxy stuff like that. And sure you can just ignore how to break level by use skills, but the game's horrifically slow so that doesn't feel good either.
