Just like to say,

I played this game nearly 10 years ago, I'm in my mid-thirties now.

I had positive interractions with people back then, and now after playing the game for maybe... a month, I'm still experiencing the same thing.

The nature of the game seems to inspire both positive and negative interractions, ... eh, maybe Jorb or Loftar mentioned this sort of thing. Maybe in the stance on PvP topic? I forget. But those positive and negative moments make the game so beautiful and perfect.

But overall, the random people I meet are generally friendly and helpful, and keen to interract with others or provide help themselves. It's literally just so much fun meeting someone, panicking if they will attack or not, nature of the game etc. But more oft than not forging some sort of understanding and both parties benefiting from it ... eh, because of the interraction? because of the full loot perma death mechanics? knowing yeah, I could smoke this joker and take his dragon helmet, but also knowing yeah this dude lives nearby and maybe excells in some industry I myself do not. And I could benefit from friendly interractions with this person for a fair while till we both have ridiculous quality levels and nothing else is interesting besides raiding lol. Which is... is it not the end-game? doing that type of thing, despite how easy it is to defend a claim now? but anyway..

I'm drunk as fuck, but basically saying whether you ever trade with me, help me, or kill me, I appreciate everyones choice of playstyle they choose to pursue in this game. It all makes it what it is, fucking incredible.

This post is maybe spurred by seeing B12 release DF on Steam, after like two decades of making something incredible. And I think I've read shit from Jorb or Loft saying "Bro not release till finish" whether I am right or wrong.

Fantastic game, fantastic community, maybe debatable? who really cares

Just cool shit dude, honestly. Such a fucking cool game.

I hope you two dudes claim all the glory whenever you think this is what it should be in the end

Such a fucking cool game man wow

In vino veritas! Ty for the kind words. :)

Looking forward to buying H+H on steam for $60 bucks in 12 years or so, the music alone in the Dorf Fort release was worth the price tag
