Please make some effort to ask your friends to wishlist Haven and Hearth on steam. We need Haven and Hearth to appear on the "popular upcoming" list, here: https://store.steampowered.com/search/? ... oon&os=win

There is a certain number of wishlists necessary to get it on that list. It also results in a lot more publicity, and it's not too high a bar.

So, please, wishlist the game yourselves and ask others to as well. You can do so on the store page here: https://store.steampowered.com/app/3051 ... n__Hearth/

Also Jorb and Loftar, please add HnH to the survival genre on steam.

For the record, Steam is currently reporting 1,247 wishlistings, but I have no context to put that number into.

Internet is generally reporting the number fluctuates but you may need approximately 7K wishlists to likely make popular upcoming, which in turn increases visibility to organically draw several hundred wishlists per day in some period (days? Weeks?) prior to launch.

Apparently wishlists is the most reliable metric but other factors like community interaction with store page and other indicators are used. Also it's not a hard cutoff, the game is likely in competition for space on this list with all other games sharing a similar release window.

I'll be very disappointed if we can't collectively as a community supplant Femboy Roommate on the list. But we probably need our community members to actively lobby their villagers and friends to wishlist the game for this purpose.

Change the Steam H&H thumbnail pic to a skinny Asian with extra large boobs holding a sword or something. And you will have the 7k wishlist.

I asked loftar to make a wishlist widget and add custom bbcode to the forums so it would be even easier to wishlist through forums, not sure if he will do it, it would look something like this and should be doable in 5 minutes

after this video ss13 got so many players it was horrible for a good period but smooth sailing after few months..

Probably we will only draw attention of big YouTubers if we make steam launch successful. Not before. Especially since if they haven't already played, W15 is dead until W16.

If we can't get popular upcoming two weeks before launch we should probably delay steam launch to W16.5.

Sseth would literally be the ideal YouTuber to cover this game. But chances of that happening before steam release are probably about same as winning lottery at this point.
