Finery Forge not unlocking

I have discovered Heavy earth, turned it into Cast iron but i still cannot build the Finery forge.
I have the metal working skill, i have discovered bricks, bar of cast iron and bronze but i don't have the option to build the finery forge yet.

Is there anything i'm missing??

You need bloodstone :)

You need bloodstone :)


Sorry for doubting you but are you 100% sure? I don't see any mention of this in the wiki, and as i said i found heavy earth which turns into cast iron,
the same product of bloodstone, bloodstone is not an item to build the finery forge so i don't see how finding it would unlock it.

Doesn't the quest say to find iron ochre?

It does, but I assume it's just a hint for what ore to get that turns into cast iron.
Again no mention of that being a requisite for the finery forge in the wiki.

The wiki is player managed from previous worlds, and occasionally wrong or outdated on some things to boot. Plus Jorb said they changed mining progression this world which is a hint.

It's the first rl month, an the wiki is updated by fans. expect discrepancies while most players are working out what has changed.

Has anyone figured this one out, yet? I hope it's not really about bloodstone :D
Everytime I find something that doesn't make sense I can almost see Jorb grinning and mumbling to himself: "working as intended."
