This world feels short, last world felt too long

6 months is a fun experiment but people around me are giving up too fast "Oh whatever next world soon anyway" and purchasing things and building do not feel as rewarding knowing world will die soon. At the same time I agree a year is too long. I think 8 month would be a sweet spot, IMO.

I've interpreted what Jorbtar have said as this being the perma (or at least very long) world, and next world will run concurrently with this world, and reset every 6months. Jorbtar please correct me if I'm wrong before I over invest in long term projects.

I plan to primarily stay on the long server even when there's new concurrent servers, tbh. Rebuilding everything every 6 months doesn't sound very fun to me.

I was told he took that back because it would split the player base too much

90% of our players did quit. Worlds should be shorter. Every 3 months I think is good

This world will stay online for longer, while they plan to create a new world around month 6. If they have changed their mind on that since launch, they need to communicate that. I have subscribed ( I usually buy tokens to add to accounts) only because of that. I would be pretty miffed if they went back on that.

Long worlds are great, the longer the better.

in order to slow down factions mining pace they made casual miner effort useless, where before you mined and get what you need, now you can mine all day and still never find that... this is amazingly pay2win because you can just trade token or hat for rings and pickaxe, and skip all the speed bumps, but now only factions have the effort/reward mechanic in mining

+1 to the understanding from Jorbtar's communication pre-launch that this world will persist indefinitely, while new, shorter worlds will be created in parallel to test new things - sort of like "Eternal" and "Seasonal" realms.
This is also the main reason I continue playing and maintaining a subscription.

If they change their mind on this, I would appreciate an official statement regarding the matter.
