What is this content deny strategy everyone is talking about recently? Can someone more experienced explain?

it's pvptard cope that people refusing to fight each other by being in alliances are denying content because they think the whole game revolves around pvp and they're incapable of doing literally anything else

What is this content deny strategy

Basically what Saxony4 said, also some of my non-pvp POW.

Even though pvp and raids are ingame mechanics, you're literally competing against other human or group of people who is only looking for some dopamine, as most likely everything else they can loot from you or your base they can make better and faster.
Basically not giving a dopamine denying content for them, you become uninteresting to spend time on, this can be:
1. Not giving them reason to be angry at you (not giving them a feeling of fulfilling justice, not giving angry reaction)
2. Not giving them a feeling of achievement knocking you ( on inevitable fight you either run away not letting KO you, or not running/fighting at all)
3. Not giving them loot (like drowning it)
4. Not giving them emotional reaction (basically examples from 1, but also taunts and other stuff)

And anything else which can seem boring and plain, staying inside palisade silent with moyai statue face while they begging you for some dopamine.

The content deny thing is kind of a meme spawned by robben dumbarse when he @everyone in whatever bay telling them to "deny content" by not engaging the raiders- ends up losing whole village and all the hermits are sacrificed but acts like its a win because "denied content"

This game doesnt really have any real objectives, theres a meaningless meteor nobody cares about or realm flags that take months to spread before they could realistically be considered a pvp objective (I assume- ive never lasted 4+ months). Since there isnt any actual need to fight each other, u occasionally get ppl using non engagement as a threat, which is just sort of funny and nobody really cares. u cant control if other ppl will play the game or not why would any1 waste time caring about that
