World 16 or 16.1?

Hello,

A little confused now, but which world is now considered more populated nad more time spending wise? World 16 is going to last far more than 16.1?
More people are now playing 16.1 (I guess), but will it end in about few months like devs said?

Last I heard, both worlds would end at the same time, being replaced by World 17. Since concurrent worlds are unprecedented, it remains to be seen whether we will get a World 17.1

World 16.1 started significantly later than the beginning of World 16. So, World 16.1 is widely considered the 'current' world by most, I reckon.

When spawning in World 16.1, you have a choice between 3 major continents. I'm not sure if that is a meaningful choice or not, but seeing the names of the continents was flavorful, so I liked it.

Also, World 16.1's clock speed is significantly faster -- to the tune of 5x faster than real-time, as opposed to the (roughly) 3x speed of previous worlds. Meaning that animals eat more swill, and have more babies; seasons change sooner; and curiosities in your study desk evaporate faster than a Mentos in Coke.
