Haven and Hearth w16.1 PvP (Realm, Siege, Meteorite)

Hi Hearthlings,

The world is dead as fuck so I guess it's good time to spend some time on videos.

From time to time I will upload something, it won't be short clip or have any advanced editing, mostly raw fights.

Someone on forum asked about video with included voices to see how it its, but as sheep wrote there is nothing interesting in it.
In non-winter fight you ko players who forget to drink, that's all. Anyway, first video contains some chaotic voices, others will not.

Realm expansion:

Siege Defense

04.05.2026 - Added Rare Winter Realm Thingwall Fight
10.05.2026 - Added Norsca siege defense
14.05.2026 - Added H4D siege defense

@Jorbtar
It definitely shows how bad and unfun PvP in this game is, there are countless posts with pain points so I don't bother to copy paste it.

I never saw a group pvp fight so that was interesting to watch but nothing like I expected.

Although it just seems like ganking randos than actual fighting with stakes.

Can I ask how do you know where to find exposed people? And what could they have done to escape?

the first fight wasn’t about ganking random players - we were defending our realm’s expansion. We got lucky with how close the enemy realm was, which made things interesting. We placed a warflag to capture a thingwall and they showed up to destroy it - quite simple.

well, there are lots of possibilities like camp thingwall, natural resources etc. In winter it's barely possible to escape.

Most of our fights were not ganking randoms or trying to find exposed players but fighting for something. Realm expansion, Siege defense, Meteorite etc.

Ah. The context wasn't clear to me

Don't get me wrong, I am not judging or condemning. If anything, the game should have more for pvp or any incentives for more interaction. I would love to see similar videos for defense/offense siege and meteorites fights in the future

Norsca siege defense
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fmQ74TVLlvA

I think this particular siege defense gathered almost all players who do PvP in the game.

I attended many siege defenses during w16.1. Unfortunately siege doesn't look like it was intended to look, with siege engines fighting each other, siege chess, archery towers etc. It all doesn't matter tbh. It's just standard fight.

No!nek fights are fun to watch because of banger music.
I think I got more adrenaline from watching than I got from being in the actual fights themselves.

this is good, i only watched the vid from norsca defense, but it was enough. it is a great way to deliver to the masses how extremely shitty, unbalanced, impractical and utterly chaotic the PVP is in this game. this is literally like watching Brown moves under a microscope.
edit: oops! sorry, what masses? Image

I tried to watch it but full unedited fight videos are so tedious lol. This game does not make for a good viewing experience at all especially when people turn off tile transitions etc and make game look worse than minecraft.

At the very least you need voice comms but I guess you cant have voice and be x2 speed.

well, for viewing experience I guess shorts are the way. 2 hour fight has like 10 minutes of good gameplay. It's not possible to make anything interesting from other part
