I'm new to the game, and today—just a couple of days into the server—someone destroyed my stone wall, breached my territory, and killed me. Beyond the stone wall—which was useless—I want to know how, with the server having been up for only a couple of days...This person gathered enough learning points to get Trespassing (25,000), Vandalism (50,000), .not to mention everything I need to raise their stats—how is it possible to get so many learning points in such a short time? Thanks.

People had vandal probably like 2 hours after the server launched. You can get a ton through discovery LP, then completing beginner quests, then questing constantly while studying efficient curios.

the LP required for the skills required to commit vandalism are easily achieved by someone with a lot of meta knowledge on curios and questing. as said above, some people had them day 1.

this doesn't necessarily apply to you because i don't know if you started hour 1 but a character with all crime skills would generally be weaker than you since LP you could have (and should have) put into combat abilites he wasted on crime skills.

to add onto that, and i don't mean to victim blame, but when you say he killed you i'm assuming you mean you true died. how exactly did that occur? did you not fight back, were you too weak? is there a reason you didn't just logout when he KOed you? i ask these questions not to chastise but in hopes to teach.

It didn't kill me, I was able to disconnect. But investigating what you tell me I see that it is unfortunately possible... in such a short time. As I said, I'm new and I trust my stone base and my claim. and I didn't know that my palissade required 3 days to "dry" since it also destroyed it. It will be time to start again :/ this game has many things and can be very hardcore for those of us who have just started

this is the early world and you love it or hate it. don't feel bad about just going back to w16 where there's almost nobody to bother you if it's too ridiculous and insane for you. if you find the strength to go on i would recommend moving as far as possible and settling inside a cave. one hot tip is finding a mountain and basing in one of the caves on that since there's so many caves people are unlikely to find yours. just make sure you don't do anything visible on the minimap like pave or stomp dirt.
