when subscription ends, do you have a chance to recover items occupying the extra row?

IIRC the recommended course of action is to Shift+Scroll Wheel Down on a container, this should access the items in non-visible inventory slots.

Winter...

I have been away for a while and this is my first winter since being back. I looked up some of this but there weren't answers.

When should I plant crops after winter? Spring day 1?
Are stockpiles outside safe?
Can I still harvest and replant in garden pots outside?
Will my trees still growing continue growing or will they stunt?

I read the wiki page so I know what is written there. I think that is all but let me know if there is anything else I need to know about winter not in wiki.

Yes to everything except the tree part. In fact you need to build Mound Beds for them BEFORE Winter hits. Mound Bed only prevents them form going into the "Winter" state but doesn't bring them out of it.

Also, I've been told the Mounds should be built at the last day of Autumn so that they last all the way to Summer and the trees don't get a chance to turn into Spring state.

I'm confused by the wiki on the credos. I got the forager credo and want to go to nomad but it is not giving it as an option. I assume I need to go thru another first but the chart is misleading. I do not want to pick the wrong one that ends up not leading to nomad. I have farmer, fisher, hunter, quarryman as my options. Which ones will still lead me to nomad?

Nomad requires Fisherman, Hunter, and Forager. Sorry, the primary chart on the wiki is really incomprehensible. There's a much more legible one lower down on the page.

Thank you kindly. The one lower had me confused as well because I thought I could follow Forager straight to nomad by that chart. I think I get it now. It is the three lines together that lead to nomad. I appreciate the help!
