Casting Material effect on final product?

I know the casting mold has some effect on the final product, but I can't find a formula or anything.
I want to know if the quality will be a significant upgrade before I spend my good resources.

Tinker's Axe doesn't list the formula, but it's probably close enough to the anvil's formula.
