Is there a way to remove cliff?

It looks so weird that I can dig all the dirt and just leave the cliff

If you dig in the right spot you can dig out a cliff.

If that fails you can shift click to fill dirt at the base of the cliff which turns it into a normal hill.

i had a hard time moving around the cliff, make a survey like 3x10. that way the dirt magically moves to the low side while you lower the high side. how i got rid of a cliff a tile next to my palisade

I believe there are some cliffs that cannot currently be removed (that is cliffs on non-mountain terrain). Unless I am missing something, I have found some cliffs on land so steep that dumping soil - even several hundred pieces - has no effect, and located in such a way that you cannot dig them from above. I don't know if this is intended.

Perhaps others have encountered this as well, or found a way around it?

Can you post screenshot from such cliff?

So far In Haven all cliffs have been diggable. Granted I don't dig cliffs that much.

In Salem where landscaping system is different you can end up with cliffs that aren't tall at all but curled in a way that you can't put dirt into them. This ruined perfect rectangle we had planned for our new village brickwall.

the only cliff i haven't been able to remove was a tile away from a cave, the cave i dont think allows you to remove cliffs it touches

when you can't fill dirt at the base of the cliff just make a large survey and dig dirt from above that gets teleported to the low side of the cliff. worked for me and i had a palisade touching the cliff, thought i'd never get rid of it unless lose the wall until i found out this trick

Yes OP you can remove cliff.

Here in this picture you can see I removed entire cliff, leaving only a cave entrance.
