[HELP] Impossible actions just happen?

Ok so as much as we understand(and according to the wiki) the following stuff shoudl not be possible...and yet it JUST happen. So Help us pls understand WHAT happen, and HOW it happen and if its legal (in game) to happen again

We are 3 friends, we were about to move and found a village.

Two of us move before and build a huge palisade and place a village claim, as i am writing this the Claim should not be active, and it will allegedly need 3 more hours in order to interact with it.

We put a wooden lock on the palisade and recall.

We come and go there everyday a couple of times to survey the land, and do more preliminare stuff.

SO: somebody, we dont know HOW was inside our palisade. manage to change the lock on the dook, and steal our village.

We tryed to replicate some actions in our base to get on HOW he manage to change the lock without the masterkey...and we cannot do it. And also ,how this guy interact with our village totem BEFORE it shoudl even be activate asnd claimed for himself? (very nice move i have to say...but it should not be possible)

Did you have pclaim before placing the village? Sounds like someone just bashed the pali and rebuilt it.

If you didnt have pclaim on the land he just bash pali, walk in, claim village and rebuild pali. He cant claim it before its active so Im assming you got the time wrong, maybe confused by the world speed increase.

If you did have pclaim on the land then its more confusing, I would guess the palisade wasnt fully dry.

Your description makes it sound like you had an undried palisade on unclaimed land lol.

About the timing i dont know, the other guy who place the Village claim is 100% sure about the timing. he schedule the build in order to have it right today (in 2 more hours or so since im writing this post) and the village was already claimed by this other guy since at least this morning (when we discover what happened) so even if he fuck up the timing (and he DID consider a few hours margin ) the time isnt right in the slightest. The wiki said like 3 in game days, so 21-22 hours in real so assuming the wiki is right this guy Steal ouyr village at least 10 hours before mthe deadline. I mean...is a huge difference

about the palisade... no, it wanst Pclamed and i dont know if it was dry or not, im gonna ask again about it.

if it was fresh, yea you probably right on HOW it happen, but if it wasnt he could not have placed a siege machine since we've gonna noticed since we go back and forth from it at least a couple times a day.

Probably less than 7.

World 16.0: 3/3.29 = 21:53 real.
World 16.1: 3/~5 = 14:24 real.

It was probably just that your palisade wasn't dried, they tried right-clicking the vclaim through the palisade, saw it was active, went OH BOY, and now had a reason to bash the palisade. This is why you never EVER try to build a vclaim without it being properly secured because a guy like me WILL just fuck it over to teach you a lesson.

Like, if the locks are changed (and locks were applied to begin with,) it means the gates were destroyed and rebuilt, or they had the master key. They probably didn't have the master key, so it stands to reason that the gates were bashed, and it follows that your palisade just wasn't dry enough.

Also even if the vclaim wasn't visible from the wall, "Giant unclaimed undried palisade" is another one that people will fuck with you for, the vclaim getting yoinked might have just been an unpleasant side effect of them trying to prank you by changing all the locks on your unclaimed noobbox.

If it wasnt pclaimed theres no mystery. You can bash the palisade even if its fully dry. He simply bashed the palisade and activated the village claim because 16.1 is a faster world, the wiki timings are wrong.

You have to start with pclaim and simply 'hope' it dries. Then you have to build palisade and simply hope nobody finds it before it dries. Then you can village idol for free. You need a lot of luck to skip these steps.
