What happens when Hunger Level Fills, Anyone has found out yet?

My best idea on how to use the system effectively is by staying between 100% content and 1% full, full makes the bar go down fast, content to give 90% feps

When hungry, your food efficiency is 300%. When less hungry it's 200%. When alright it's 100%. When full, it's 50%. When stuffed it's only 25%.
Food efficiency (in game: hunger level) is the multiplier to FEPs gained per unit of food consumed.
Interesting mechanic, but I've stuffed myself full with low FEP berries and now I can't get my INT higher without devouring at least 30 blueberries.
Also, the hunger level decreases slowly over time. I didn't find any other way to decrease it.
One more thing. When your energy meter (the old hunger meter - 3rd bar in the top left corner) get's below 1000%, you'll slowly starve. I was at 800ish and I took 2HHP dmg.

My hunger level has been static at "15% full" for 15 minutes now. I have never seen it decrease in any way.

Seriously does no one know how to decrease hunger level? I need to eat to regain my energy but if I eat anymore i'm gonna become stuffed.... serious issue since drinking water regains stamina but reduces energy and not hunger....

Do we know if there's any major side effects from over eating? The only thing I can tell so far is a reduced food effectiveness, and I'm at a short distance into satiated (90% effectiveness).

Hunger Level at "Full" status its = -1% every 3min17sec
It goes down if your offline too.
