I'm actually wondering if buckets could be... placeable when full? Like a tiny structure? Using the lift command would equip it, and it wouldn't decay being left on the ground?

I like the no more abusing buckets for liquid storage, but they feel a bit wonky currently.

Edit: Err... yeah this was a weird half suggestion half question because in the past loftar had hidden keybinds up his sleeve.

On the subject; I was thinking there should be a "Lift from ground to hand immediately" option, perhaps a hot-key. For example, if your hand is empty and there's a bucket on the ground that you want to put in your hand, you have to open your inventory screen, lift the barrel, click your portrait to place it in your hand. If there was a hot-key, you would only have to (example:) shift-click it to place it in your hand immediately.

If you have the item hotkey:ed you can press ctrl+hotkey to lift it to hand. Useful for refilling your water vessel.
