yes the sleds are still bugged. i dont know spesifics but devs need to check it.

Sorry you had to go through that.
Theres a player who normalized exploiting and now hermits like you get to suffer.
I recommend closing all your gates on ground level for now and using your minehole to enter your base
You should also build a palisade on lvl 1 mine asap before someone comes up and bashes your minehole(very important). Big setback if you only have 3 bee skeps.

Ahh yes in that case you're correct but I just wanted to make sure they had a good idea of proper base design because you never know when shit is going to change.

Edit: Also thinking about it, technically I'm still correct sort of: It sounds like the bug still relates to sleds and their passenger, it's possible if your gates closed they can't exploit the bug which means if you get knocked out and they steal your slave key and your doors are facing the wrong way then they can open them and use the exploit.
