I don't know if I agree with this as my Cows have been giving milk for 5 weeks straight and I have not breeded them at all during that time.

Rape racks didn’t work — the males refused to breed the females in those stalls. But if I move a female out to the corridor with the male, he mates with her quickly, and then I can lead her back with a rope. They’re all pregnant now, and it’s actually very convenient to milk them, monitor their quality, and shear their wool.
