On what type of terrain can you build a well ?
I was trying in forest, plain, stromp to earth, plow, paved, no chance.
Or does the "type of terrain" message is refering to "no water behind" and not type of terrain?

if there's no water it will say "the water runs too deep". you can't build it on forest terrain, so you need to stomp to dirt but you need two tiles, where you place it and under the handle as well. what i do is just dig one piece and put it back, which will turn a 2x2 area into dirt.

I have 21 perception and 17 MMS.

My friend who has roughly half of those values, and a bow with .5 more quality on each stat is able to hit a fox on his first shot every time at like 85% bar.

It takes me 2-4 shots, but I am shooting from about 3-4 blocks away on a cliff, while he is shooting from right next to it.

Am I missing just because of the short distance? Does the cliff count? Am I good enough to just shotgun them without worrying about being concussed?

I've noticed you can aim and shoot literally anywhere...

Does this mean...this game has...physics? Does it hit whatever the arrow intercepts?

I have been zooming in as close as possible and clicking DEAD CENTRE as much as possible, and I miss often, but I have heard this "shadow under the animal" thing a few times.

So I could never even know if I have the proper stats or quality of bow to attempt something, I am simply clicking the wrong point of ground? I really wish this could be confirmed because this is not how an "RPG" works.
