This affects the weight of moves. Weight influences the effectiveness of moves because it compares the attacking move's value with the defender's stance's value. However, it is not linear. Significant difference will be feeld if you are doubling or being doubled on combat stat.

I'm looking into this and can't find anything related to this section: what are the benefits of having more levels of a skill? The description doesn't specify the improvement, for example, of having attack at level 2 or 4.

Each point at attack actions is increasing ammount of opening action is generated (around 10% for each point I think), but it's not increasing damage, so you want to have points at actions that used to gererate openings (Quick Barrage, Punch, Knock Its Teeth Out and etc) and you keeping one point at actions that you are using to deal damage (Cleave, Full Circle and etc).

For defensive actions each point is increasing amount of opeinings rudeced, so most of the time you want to have maxium points there.

For special actions each point is increasing it's power (Opportunity Knocks) or reduce cool down (Dash, Take Aim, Think).

Also Flex is considered defensive action. There no point to put more than one pip if you are using it only offensivly.
