Jorb's post is from August 13th, GamingRAM's post is from August 18th. Sunstone did not exist prior to this world, and I don't think we're supposed to know the Knarr recipe yet but GamingRAM accidentally discovered Sunstone earlier than intended and unlocked the recipe that way. It should be correct unless it was changed without getting a patch note at some point since world start.

EDIT: Never mind, I get what you mean now. I guess that's something for Bugs, not How Do I.

FYI, those are the bounding boxes - the indicators of what space they take in according to game rules. You can visually walk over some objects while seemingly getting stopped by thin air at other moments; the pink squares let you see exactly what you'll collide with. It's especially useful for placing objects and structures.

Wiki says about cascade damage:
Cascade damage can only happen between segments with the same soak.

Does this mean that if I extend my wall, and then knock down the new section before it's reached full soak, it won't damage the rest of my pali? Is this accurate/am I understanding this right?

I'm fairly sure the wiki is wrong, actually. There was a controversy a while ago that walls used to always cascade, then it was changed to what the wiki says, then at some point it was reverted and barely anybody knew about it, and some village got raided by extending a palisade (cornerpost was on the edge of the claim) and bashing it immediately after it started gaining soak. I'm not aware of any changes since then...but there's no official source we can reference to verify how it currently works. (I've simply refrained from extending my palisade at all since it dried because I'm not sure it's safe and there is no reliable way to check it, also due to the arcane rules around them.)

If I recall correctly, it does not cascade (or maybe cascades only to similar segments?) if it has no soak at all (i.e. in the first 24 hours), but after that it cascades into fully dried wall segments, meaning you risk losing part of your original palisade if you bash a partially dried segment - or someone else comes along and does it for you. (For that matter, I'm not sure if the magical handbash protection for claimed palisades kicks in after 24 hours or after 72 hours.) But I cannot guarantee this and will not be held responsible if it turns out to suddenly cascade into dried segments while fully fresh after all.

Okay, thank you. Guess I'll see if I feel lucky... Another question regarding palisades, if two cornerposts are touching diagonally, can damage cascade between them? I assume not, but just want to be sure before I accidentally wreck my wall.

Curious as to what having a higher 'level' (I say this because I don't know the proper term) of an attack does. For example what advantage does having punch 4/4 in your deck as opposed to punch 1/4. I assume it means more damage but nothing changes on the tooltip when i change punch to 1/4 and click as opposed to when I look at it when it is at 4/4.

It changes the weight (amount of openings created and/or closed), that's it. I think 5/5 is 1.5x stronger than 1/5.

On all moves that can have extra copies on their descriptions they have a backwards u which is the factor that having additional moves is changing. For attacks its almost always attack weight, for some moves like dash its cooldown and for others its how much openings they restore.
