First, palisades on claims are much stronger than palisades on unclaimed land. I'm assuming you mean the former, since the latter decay naturally and tend to be more of a liability than a sound investment.

Claim has no impact on Palisade soak AFAIK. Being under a claim just makes fully soaked Palisade completely immune to hand-bashing. You can test this by selecting "Destroy" and it won't even let you click such Palisade.

Worth noting that both "active" claims and claims that have run out of authority both cause this effect. I don't know if a claim, that hasn't even been properly activated (visited by claim builder after the 8 RL hour grace period) also does that.

I don't understand how aquiring of certain knowledge works.
For example, I want to make stuffed poultry on my relatively fresh cook alt.
He knows all cooking related skills, except for cheesemaking, which is defenitely not the case.
I catch a bird, do all steps to have a clean carcas, find a string in nature, open a recipe for stuffing and make the stuffing.
But I still don't have the recipe for the stuffed bird.
Why? What do I miss? Do the beginning quests work as gatekeep? Maybe there is some other recipe is requered?
Wiki just says "Gather the ingredients and execute the recipe"

When I travelled to bay for 99.9% of my travel weariness like this a while ago I had 35 will:



So just get a bit more and make sure you are capped on weariness, it shouldn't be too long before you can go anywhere

Couple more questions from a player who returned to H&H after 2-3 years:

1) How to use this new hunger bar properly? I assume that it's better to always be close to 300%, eat less but more often?
2) It's worth using `Contemplation & Meditation` from the Rite & Magic tab? It looks like a good chance for spending excess experience points to gain LP faster. If not - how do you spent your exp points normally?
3) Any good tips for credos? How to complete them faster? What is worth keeping for later or smth like that

1) You can regain it by quests (until 200%) and salt. So don't think about it too much. Just try to get better table and hunger wont be a problem ever.
2) It's okay to use it for long curios that you need for credo quests. Other than that, I don't think it good idea to waste exp on it. At some point you will need it for mining/fishing songs, raw hides and just for curio study.
3) Start from forager. If you are going to make a lot of credos on one char (better to have alts for different things, but w/e) you should start from most annoying credos - mystic, nomad. To complete credoes faster you need to store every damn item in your cupboards, so you won't go hunt beavers for teeth 9 times.
