Tanning Fluid?

Simple question. Anyone have a clear and concise guide on how to make tanning fluid? I've tried making it using cauldrons, buckets, etc, but it's not working ;-;

You usually need to put bark into the tub.

As far as I know, in Salem you need a bucket of water and a brain from butchering certain animals to make tanning fluid, so maybe the entrails you get now make it, only other use for them I found is for fishing btw

Also boiling birch bark in salem produces the fluid, could try that too.

I'm almost certain that the ingredients are just bark and water because I have the crafting option unlocked and the ingredients are listed as "1000 water 1 tree bark". It's just that I can't seem to craft them.

You need to have 2 buckets equipped and then you can craft it.
