From what i read its really easy to have your home destroyed correct me if i am mistaking it.
So yeah some griefer probably wound your home and destroyed it for the lulz and the loot.

Rather than waiting X hours before being able to build a home, the soak value of a house starts very low and builds up to its full value over 3 IRL days.

Perhaps they need to tinker with it a bit (by default requiring vandalism to destroy house structures?), but under the old system you'd have had to wait a good 12 hours to even construct the house.

Welcome to Haven where nothing is sacred. Whole villages have been extorted over some BS.

edit: to note, houses have a low (no) soak when first built and it builds up over time. This is to prevent using them to grief other players, such as blocking in a gate. The last alternative was to have a 24 hour drying time before they could actually be finished. I much prefer this as with a simple skill like yeomanry, you force the other guy to use black skills to nuke your house.

Also, I was the guy who was sitting at your table asking for dinner and then pilfered your barrel, walking in circles before eventually putting it down and leaving. I was just having a bit of fun, but had no intent to break/steal anything, despite you assuming I was there to grief you.
