How to craft Gauze?

I'm in the same state as loleznub.
Sheep don't take the clover and I can't get the [Shear] option.

Any advice?

If you leash it with a rope you use your clover action probably.

You need to Rclick to shear it with an axe equipped, and presumably no rope because that seems like it might be over-riding it?

-Find a muflon
-Feed it with a clover
-Equip stone axe
-Right click muflon and select sheave (its totally safe)
-Obtening wool discover the gauze
-Build a loom (Simple mechanic needed)
-Make a gauze.

Using the gauze :

-Left click the gauze
-In injury pannel right click (with the gauze on cursor) on the injury to heal
-The character equipe the gauze (second head slot)
-Wait till the injury's totally healed (1HHP per hour it seem)
-Remove the gauze when totally healed
-Drop the bloody gauze (became useless or i don t know if there is any use)

Did all of the following, even placed it on a hithcing post. Still no shear option.

Fucking defective sheep.

Also, Untethered the Mouflan from the post, re-leashed it then dropped the rope to unleash it. Still no option to shear.

I finally found a sheep that would eat clover. I didnt do anything differently, just a different result.
After shearing, I was also able to leash it, which had not worked earlier.

I've had AH all along.
