Is there a way to make a wooden weapon besides the bow?

There never have been wooden weapons. It would come to a surprise to me if they were added. (Would be nice to have a nice, stout quarterstaff for traveling with, or a club for early combat before metal was discovered.)

It'd be a nice addition stone axe for sure.
