cant inspect tamed animal

Hello up there !

I recently managed too tame my first sheep this world but i have a problem inspecting it.
if i rightclick the sheep and click on inspect i just colide with it , since the inspect command donsn´t work on animal anymore i´m clueless now

Might be an issue/bug with the freshly tamed animal. Did you just tame it before trying to inspect it? If so, try exiting and logging back in. The client many not be registering the changed hitbox correctly and you can't actually touch the sheep to get the "inspect" similar to running into a hitbox when trying to move from A to B. (This is speculation on my part, but it looks like this based on experience with the way other things happen in collision mechanics.)

Thank you for your reply. I normaly use the Ender client. but I have already tried too log in again multiple times.
The sheep is now tamed for aprox. 8 houres . I even tried too inspect it with the default client but that dosn´t work either

Did you try to rope it and unrope it? It helped for one of my sheep I couldn't inspect. But could be coincidence

tried that . didn´t work.

Had same problem as you(default and amber client). Asked someone else to try inspecting it (before I submitted a bug report) and it fixed the issue.
Try using alt(as in: other char not keyboard key) to inspect it (preferably even from other account?)

Only had it happen with first animal I tamed (was male horse). Didn't have that issue later on.

Hello and welcome back guys. a friend of mine tried too insspect my sheep now from another account as well as i did with an alt.

i tamed a horse too now and it has the same problems. we have 2 animals now that nobody seems too be able too inspect. kind of sucks
